Hello there!
Wow, can't believe it's been 2 years already! And what a fantastic, amazing, incrediable 2 years it's been! I never dreamt when I opened marching stars with about 12 zines it would grow into what it has today. The last year has been difficult at university, but I was determined to prove everyone who said "all distros close when the owner goes to university" wrong!
Thank you SO much to everyone who has supported marching stars (either through ordering, letting me stock your zines, or just putting in a good word about it)! It's made finding the motivation to continue and expand so easy.
I can only hope there are many more wonderful years to come. This is easily the best 'thing' I've ever done!
Rambling over, birthday month! Also International Zine Month (officialy)! Every order in July will receive a mix cd with songs I like, simple as. I don't write a zine, so I never get to write the "written under the influence of" page... so this is kinda like that, songs I probably listen to as I update the site, read zines for consideration and package up orders! I'm also going to pop on the song with the lyric that inspired the name "marching stars". Exciting.
